Congratulations!
The ESM500A is insanely-great.

I have an ESM500A, and its younger sibling ESM1001 (insanely-great 
squared). You are in for a good time once you pass the front panel 
button programming learning-curve.

I have a few spare VDTs I purchased last year. Let me know if you want 
one (my cost +shipping) - but, make sure you really need one first. 
Factory-fresh, the display was never bright, just perfect for a dimly 
lit bunker, er room.

You may also be able to pick up the VDT at a bargain price on eBay. 
Look for the old Sinclair portable TV (world's first hand-held portable 
TV), or an NLS mini-scope (pocket-sized o-scope). Both used the same 
tube.
