[PPRAANet] Old movies

Hello PPRAA.

I was rooting around in YouTube the other day, and found out that many old black and white movies from the 1940s and 1950s have been uploaded. Apparently it’s not worth extending the copyright on the less popular movies, so YouTube doesn’t take them down.

An interesting one related to radios is “The House on 92nd Street,” (1945) which is an FBI propaganda-ish story about catching a spy during WW2 in NYC. He’s caught because of a problem with his shortwave radio. There’s some good CW in it, also.  :-)

Here in Massachusetts, we’re digging out from another snow storm, about 18” of very wet, heavy snow. Ugh.
