Ta-Dah !
The long awaited 'W0RW Pedestrian Mobile' color QSL cards are now available.
i was inspired by really nice pedestrian mobile QSL cards from VE3WMB &
G0SBW, and W9FCC, so i decided to make some too.
If you have worked w0rw/pm (moi) and want a free color QSL card, just send
me your QSL or send me an email with your call, address and the date of our
contact.
Send the email Direct to w0rw at aol.com. Please DO NOT send a REPLY to the
reflector, no one else needs the information.
This new QSL card has a picture of the Maroon Bells/pm operation
in the Snowmass Wilderness Area of Colorado. You can see a picture
of my radio in April 2006 QST, in the lower right picture on page 58.
If you need a new contact, i will be operating in the 'QRP to the Field'
contest, 29 April on 14060 (+/- 5) with my KX1. i will be at an old gold mine
in the ghost town of Altman, CO, (10570 foot elevation).
If you work 6 pedestrian/bike mobile stations, there is a really nice
certificate available from the HFpack Group, called the '6pack' Award.
No QSL cards required. Go to
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hfpackers/files/Issued6pack12pack/
to see the certificate.
