[PPRAANet] PPRAA Simplex Net

Just a friendly reminder of the PPRAA Simplex Net
every Thursday at 7PM MDT on 146.58 MHZ.  (Alternate
frequency is 146.55 MHZ should the primary be
unavailable.)  Please take a few minutes and check-in.

Each week we have the ARRL Audio News.  BTW, there
will be no ARRL Audio News next week (12/2/4) as the
ARRL will not produce it because of the long
Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

This week's Tech Talk will be "Safety."  Be sure to
check in and hear about this important subject.  If
you have comments or questions about safety please
bring them to the net.

Next week's (12/2/4) Tech Talk will be SKYWARN and
will be presented by Sid White, K4ARM.  Sid is the
local SKYWARN liason with the National Weather
Service.  The presentation will be on Thursday prior
to the SKYWARN appreciation day at the NWS in Pueblo
on Saturaday (12/4/4).

We have made arrangements to archieve Tech Talk
presentations on the PPRAA website.  The URL is

items become available they will be added to the site.

We are looking for a guest NCS to fill in December
16th on the net.  Patrick will be out of town and my
(Jim) work schedule may conflict with the net.  Please
contact Patrick or myself at the above email address
if you can fill in.
 
Any licensed ham is welcome to check-in to the net. 
You do NOT need to be a member of the PPRAA to
participate.  Spread the word to anyone not on the
above reflectors.  So, mark your calender, stop by and
enjoy the fun and maybe learn a new thing or two.
