With much sadness I announce that Bill King, W0LKD, became a Silent Key
on Saturday.  Barry, W0MOG called me with the sad news this afternoon
and asked if I would put this on the PPRAA reflector

Services for Bill will be held at Swan Law Mortuary on Wednesday,
November 24 at 11 A.M. for those that can attend.  Bill had been a ham
for many years and all of us "old timers" knew him.  Lately he has not
been in good health, and on Saturday he passed away.  Bill was always
ready to lend a hand and help any way he could.  I believe he was a past
President of PPRAA, but I am not sure of the year.  He was also
instrumental in helping get many local repeaters on the air or trouble
shooting them when problems arose. 
 
There was no announcement in the Gazette this morning, but there may be
tomorrow.  He will be missed
