Their "tuneup" should change some of those values, so restoring it with the 
old file might negate their alignment.

I think there is a utility somewhere that will let you change the early 
PCR1Ks to any "country" code you want. I have an early PCR1K also, and once 
experimented to verify that software could actually "unblock" it.  Can't 
remember what it was - maybe a feature of TalkPCR?
