Think you best call them in advance, as the PCR1K is now discontinued, and
they may not even want to support it.

You might want to file-save your EEPROM settings in case they return it as a
"blocked" rcvr.

I have pretty much discontinued using my late model 1K for anything other
than monitoring certain freq's above 512 Mhz, and the "ham" beacons on HF.

Incidently, "Super Control" CAT software also supports the PCR1000, but they
hardly make mention of it in their sales pitch/docs.  Havent tried it yet,
as it just arrived.  Have to set up my newly arrived FT-847D "fully
expanded" xcvr first. ;-)
