[PCR-1000] EEPROM Backup

Hallo everybody,
I am going to use your software SavePCR1000 to backup my new PCR1000's
EEPROM.
I would like to ask you, what means "Country" control on the program
panel. What is its function? And if I have European version of radio,
shoud I switch EUR/AUS or FCC EUR/AUS?
Is this control really essential?
