Hey Steve,
Nice Copter pics.I went to the website you gave.
I am into rotary winged aviation as well. I repair rotor blades for the
US ARMY on Ft. Hood Texas.I would say the ones I deal with are probably
longer than a Hughes 500!

I'll look forward to hearing how you do on that. I believe I read 
somewhere that there's supposed
to be a macro included with the Powermate that lets you train it to do 
pretty much anything...at
least on the OS X version....not sure about PC's.

I haven't purchased a PCR-1000 yet...just trying to decide if it's 
really worth it to drag a laptop
around just to tune the radio. I wish someone made a Pocket PC app that 
would tune it.

I've seen that remote unit offered by someone on the Yahoo group....it 
combined with the Powermate
might be neat for mobile use.
