Oh I know what you were getting at.Infact Two things I should have reiterated 
one the external use of the timewave dsp and my unability to afford one.
Yes to get a good quality signal out from any radio is a plus,For the pcr its 
alot better than what I had every had when it came to any radio that was 
capable of recieving hf.
On radiocom you can narrow down the dsp's filter window as much as possible for 
the decoding to work well especially when the qrm is really high.And that is no 
guarentee.Right now I find that radiocom or any of the other programs that I 
use or used for cw reception is really pressing it to get error free text.That 
also comes from my complete lazyness to learn morse code and read from my ears.

Lately since I had my hardrive go south and had to build my system back up I 
have been playing it smartly.At first This, To some may sound pretty dumb ,But 
this is my reason.I went back with the Icom software to start.I am building up 
my MCH files better and more organized.Now What will happen I can save them to 
a floppy for a back-up then when I update my frequency list then I will be able 
to go to the floppy and resave the file.Right now The only two mch files that I 
have are one that I have named HF.MCH and VHF-UHF.mch.
Inside my HF.MCH file is all my information for HF UTILITY.OF cource the VHF-
UHF.MCH is my local stuff.Once this is compiled up then I can use talkpcr to 
export the file from the Icom program file for talkpcr.
