[PCR-1000] Re:Nonstandard Filter Modes

Hi there,

I use a Timewave DSP filter too, though one thing it won't help much with
is restoring AGC gain to a channel when an adjacent one is swamping over.
The worst thing (in fact the only band thing at all in my view) about the
PCR1000 is the choice of final IF frequency - NO-ONE makes 450KHz filters
so modification is very difficult.

I've had pretty good luck hanging a Timeline DSP on the audio output of the
PCR-1000 (after the on-board processing). Yeah, it's another box, but it
really works over the audio -- more flexibility! Vic

I wished!
Man sometimes on hf digital its hard to get cw decoding with the bandwidth
at
2.8.
Al, how does that r-70 run???I have a friend that has one and completely
swears
by it.

Is it possible to set the PCR1000 to the 230khz filter width in any mode
