I think the RF performance of the Digital Scout must have been improved
since you got your unit, I sincerely am getting much better results with it
than with the Scout 40.

There are actually two jacks on the unit: one stereo 3.5mm and one mono
2.5mm next to it. I will take some pictures and post them. The 3.5mm jack is
used for the PC RS-232 connection, and for reaction-tuning the PCR-1000, and
the 2.5mm jack is used for the CI-V reaction tune.
