Bandwidth of Digital Scout:  ~2.6GHz

Bandwidth of normal communications receiver:  ~15kHz.

Do the arithmetic:  10*log10(2.6GHz/15kHz) == 52dB.

This is the price you pay for not knowing the incoming frequency
until you actually receive it.
