[PCR-1000] Interference from PC running DOS vs running Windows

Thank for the many replies. Progress so far:

a) yes to the Sony Multiscan monitor being one culprit. Radiates even when
you have switched it off. Need to pull the power plug.
b) a VCR nearby. Even when switched off what seems to be a switched power
supply continues to radiate. Again need to pull the plug.

Continueing testing and will report progress - maybe this helps others.....
