You can download my program written in Visual Basic with the source code

Visual Basic is a bit different than Quick Basic, especially the GUI part,
but that should get you started.

I obtained an PCR-1000 for the ARRL Lab, to permit us to do some
computer-controlled testing
of radiated signal levels.

Do any of you have experience talking to the PCR-1000 through the Com port
in Quick Basic?
I know Basic and DOS are a bit on the old side now, but I wanted an
open-source project whose
code could be pretty universally understood, and most modern programmers can
easily dust off
their Basic skills.  Besides, I know Basic better than I know any other
Language.

I left my informational sig intact on this post to explain what ARRL is, but
for future posts, I will
leave off the commercial. :-)
