[PCR-1000] PCR-1000 Scanning with Win 95 Laptop

Hi,

I have an older Compaq 100MHz Pentium laptop computer
with limited RAM running Win 95.

Recently wrote a small C program to take my frequency
files and generate an Icom format .MCH file.  This works
great.

Unfortunately, when I try scanning (using the Icom software),
it will scan for awhile, stopping and continuing as it should.
Then, it just stops scanning, going out of the Memory Scan
mode.  I can start it scanning again, but it will do the same
thing.

Anybody seen this before?  Any suggestions?
