Question

By screen reading do you mean "text to speech" software? What about
voice recognition for user control of the receiver, in addition to your
suggestion for simple & large controls?

Hello!

   Blind or severely visually impaired might benefit from interface
composed completely of very standard windows controls; checkboxes, popup
and pull-down menus, normal buttons with text labels and textual
presentation of all status information.

  This will make possible to use control program with screen reading
software witch can cope only with standard windows controls, not any
kind of graphics emulating front panel with knobs, buttons, wheels and
lights.

  Another approach would be  web-based interface. This will work
specially with multi-platform environment.
