My 2 cents...


  I agree entirely with Mike, and MARAC rules..if the entire setup can be
operation in legal vehicle motion, whether it be motorvehicle, or
bicycle, it is mobile. If any part cannot be legally driven down a road,
it is a rover, or portable. My opinion differentiating the two, is to
qualify as a rover, a station should operate from at least 3 different
locations, or counties if you may Anything less than that should be
defined as a portable.

Once again, just my opinions, but while we are discussing mobile
operations, I intend to activate about 20 counties in the Mid Atlantic Qso
party tomorrow...about 12 in PA, 2 in NY, 5 or 6 in NJ.  Please look for
