Whenever I take a logger/operator, I sign multi-single; Frankly, it =
never occured to me to claim single.

IMO the rules exist to keep the honest op honest. The morally deficient =
among us will always find a way to 'bend' the rules.

In most contests I've worked, "single op" means exactly that. For =
example, in the general rules for HF contests sponsored by the ARRL, the =
definition of the single operator entry category is that "One person =
performs all transmitting, receiving, spotting, and logging functions as =
well as equipment and antenna adjustments." If I had help from another =
person for logging during the PA QSO Party, I'd feel obliged to enter as =
a multi-. 73 - Kay N3KN
