In most contests I've worked, "single op" means exactly that. For example,
in the general rules for HF contests sponsored by the ARRL, the definition
of the single operator entry category is that "One person performs all
transmitting, receiving, spotting, and logging functions as well as
equipment and antenna adjustments." If I had help from another person for
logging during the PA QSO Party, I'd feel obliged to enter as a multi-. 73 -
