Well, I can give y'all advance notice of ONE reason to pay attention to the
higher bands in this year's contest.

Several members of the Wireless Association of South Hills, led by Bill
W3WH, will be operating during the contest (and the Ca QSO Party too) from a
Caribbean DX location:  St. John's, USVI.  Call to be announced (we're
waiting on the Vanity system to process a request right now), and the
location will be the home of Paul NP2JF

As currently planned, this will be one of THREE WASH club stations on the
air in the contest, joining N3SH from Clarion and WA3SH from the
Somerset/Westmoreland line.  It'll be a challenge to pull off (since many of
the N3SH & WA3SH regular ops will be heading south for the contest), but
still, not a bad way to help celebrate the club's 10th anniversary, hmmm?

More details to follow as we get closer to the 'test.
