Kinda what I figured.......though I'm going to take it anyhow....it's on my
list.
Maybe I can find a repeater I can hit to keep me company a little during
the "set up" days.
BTW: I meant to say "a 5/8 wave verticle", not a 5/8 wave dipole........(a
dipole is a dipole is a dipole......half wave.....I know)

Probably as many as we've managed from N3GWR/Pik. One year we worked a
mobile who passed by. Otherwise, nothing. We're in kind of a topographic
bowl on
the Pocono plateau, miles and miles from any population centers. On the
other
hand, sitting on top of the Blue Mountain on either PA 33 or PA309 on the
NHA/MOE line or LEH/SCH line, it's possible to work about 6~8 counties and
the
NNJ section.
Location is everything in real-estate and VHF.
