When I wanted to rent a cabin in CMB back in 1989 I found the following
information.
1. There is a deadline for making reservation request, I believe it
     is July 1.
2. After that date then names are chosen by lottery draw, after which
    you only have a short time to make payment.
3. If any of the lottery chosen people fail to pay by the deadline, then
    their reservation is thrown out and the rental is then offered to
    people on the waiting list.
4. To get on the waiting list you have to call the park at, or shortly
   after the drawing date.
Back in '89 I did not get a lottery pick, but, by calling the park after
I was notified of 'no luck', I got put on the waiting list, and in about
2 weeks was notified I had 'x' number of days to pay up, which I did.

Now, as for FOR, the only state park there is Cook Forest, which is
in CLA & JEF as well as FOR.  The only problem is that none of  the
cabins are actually in FOR.  I was there last year in my trailer, at the
park, for 4 days. I wanted to operate in FOR in PAQP.  SOoo, I went to
a private camp ground in JEF and got a reservation.
I still want to do FOR before I'm too old, but have plans for INN for
this year.
