[Packet] MFJ 1270C TNC-2 Packet Controller Question

What makes this a strange bird is that the xceiver is emitting an audible
tone while it should transmitting.  A tnc can cause a steady tone when given
the c(K)alibrate command and pressing the space bar will toggle between two
tones, but only a receiver tuned to the transmitter output would or should
demodulate it. I would suspect something went screwy with xceiver, I would
try a microprocessor reset on the rig. Don't cost anything, but the time to
reprogram.--73
