Jerry; you are correct to be usefull to the aprs community home stations
need to have the commitment to run the station 24/7 if they truly want to
be a "relay". This would be independent of what aprs application you run on
your computer. The only time I turned off my home packet station was when
storms made it prudent to disconnect the antenna.- N0LKK
