[OFARC] class and test Results

I thought you would like to know how the class and testing finished up.

 

26 signups

20 attended  (Business trips and flu kept several out)

12 made the test (2 got married so were absent, flu, a funeral, and "just
not ready nerves" kept others out)

4 walk-ins for the test

 

16 people took exams and most of the class members tried the General test
too.

 

Results:

11 new Technician licenses

2 new General class

1 new Extra class

Greetings to All!

 

The review and test session went well yesterday and most candidates earned a
license.

 

Several class members had business trips, the flu, or just did not feel
ready to take the test.

Not to worry. the test is given every month at our club (OFARC) and also at
BVARC.

Just check the web pages for dates.

(The OFARC calendar for 2020 is also attached below.)

 

16 people took exams . that includes 4 "walk-ins" that were not in the class

11 new Technician licenses

2 new General class

1 new Extra class

 

The "team" spoke after the test and we all enjoyed giving the class and the
opportunity it gave us to interact with the students.

We also see some possible improvements to the ARRL slide pack.

 

If you are looking for a club, you can join any club you wish, and most do
not require you to have a license to join.

I have attached the membership form for the club I am in.OFARC.

 

If the club is too far or just does not "fit"; there are several in the
Houston/Sugarland/Pearland area
