[OFARC] Winter Field Day anyone???

I presented the mayor's proclamation about Glenshire Field Day to our HOA
this evening.

They were THRILLED!

They also said it was a neat idea and they have heard only good things about
Field Day.

 

I commented about winter field day being a simpler event and that some
neighbors have asked me about it.

The coldest, hardest person on the board said "well, that is what our
building is for!"

 

Winter Field Day will be January 25/26 2020

Who is up for it??

 

Pitch a tent or 2 in the field, run a HF rig on solar (plus whatever other
radios we want to haver, have access to the building for heat, warm drinks
and toilets..

PS..

I have heard form one FD visitor that he is studying for the exam, 2 others
want to study up and renew expired licenses

Plus I got a text message this evening from a couple that was not even at
FD.they want to learn how to get a license.
