Lost a radio last week then after this last snowstorm noticed the 2m
antennas were 70 degrees off where I had parked them. lowered the tower
Friday and the lower mast mount sheared off.  Tied things off so the
antennas won't turn and went to the shop and started building a new one.
bigger and stouter.

 

On top of it yesterday came down with a stomach bug. so not up to
contesting. SWR on 2m is way to high, when parked with tower all the way
down one beam is 2 feet from a metal sided and roofed shed. So I packed it
in, can hear a few of you but no TX. 432 radio is dead. not up to swapping
cables around to get 432 working.
