Conditions seemed better on Saturday (as well as the activity) than Sunday here. FT8 seemed to be "where the action was" and if you were going to work more than a handful, you were going to have to run digital. OH WELL ..... Sure miss being able to say "Hi" to long time friends "in radio person" other than text.

Thanks to those that got on the air. Seemed like a huge number of 6m stations in the Twin Cities on during the contest. A bit of 6m Es on Saturday, but didn't amount to much here. Only worked Mel and Carol once early on in the contest. Sure missed having their rover station worked more often. Ran 2,222,432 with Barry VE4MA with good CW signals on our path through the hills and forest Sunday night. Worked Eddie VE3KRP on 2m SSB good signal Saturday and it took FT8 to work him Saturday on 6m and was not easy. My low noise level helps me while he fights "city noise". K2DRH 6-432 as usual, I think 432 was aircraft scatter, but in the log at 411miles again. Good activity building in the Duluth area as well as K0COM, W0RPR and others scattered about. Hope they enjoyed the activity. See you in June for another. Stay safe.
