The GPS receiver I've been using has it's own displays for location in
maidenhead 6 characters and longitude and latitude in degrees and
fractions. It also shows GMT time precisely. I've not located it today
to be able to tell the brand and model. It was a fundamental product
that I bought 12 or 14 years ago when I was beginning to rove on 10 GHz.
I'll have to search more. It also shows ground velocity for checking a
vehicle's speedometer. I have used it for every QSO whlle roving in the
past several years.
