Poor conditions were countered by good activity. Final score was 19 Q's x 7 grids for 133 points. Worked one station on 223.5 FM, four on FT8 (222.174), and 14 on SSB. No CW this year despite making some calls. FT8 was interesting as I decode several stations that I was not able to get their attention. Decoded but not worked were K9PW/R, N9ISN, WA9TT, N9LB, and AA9MY. Perhaps my 100 watts wasn't cutting the mustard as there was a lot of QSB with our cold weather. I also heard/called W9ZIH on SSB, I think he responded to me, but I was not able to get a confirmation from him before he disappeared into the noise. A tip of the hat to rovers AC0RA and WA2VOI. Thanks for the Q's. The 222.060 beacon is back on again.
My 432 antenna is still kaput so next weeks 432 Sprint may be a rove, tbd.
