Here is a nice quick talk about Antennas for Surveillance related to
WiFi and SDR radios given at the DEFCON 27 conference in Nevada last
August. The Wireless Village is a specialty offshoot of the main
DEFCON proceedings where attendees can focus on specific topics of
interest to them.
Most NLRS members who have attended a CSVHFS or MUD conference will
recognize the speaker. The 28 minute video is a brief intro to the
subject of broadband antennas and mentions many types of antennas and
numerous anecdotes about their development and use. A fun video to
watch although the audio is pretty bad....
