Today I visited with my old friend John Toscano, W0JT who is currently
confined to the PAM Specialty Hospital in San Antonio. He's been there and
various ICUs for the last several months. John's low blood pressure
condition is still a challenge that the staff are trying to cure.

The highlight of John's year has been the June VHF contest: "This contest
was my best in the years since I dismantled my home station in Apple Valley,
Minnesota (EN34js) and moved to Texas (EL09vu)."
As you may know he has a contest station located on a 20dB hill just
Northeast of San Antonio, TX.

His message to his NLRS and RMG friends is: " I'll be looking for you on
6-meters as soon as I can get back in the saddle again!"
I'm sure he'd appreciate any encouraging texts (952-484-8365) and/or e-mails
(jptoscano223500 at gmail.com) as he tries to fill in the long days and nights
in the hospital with only his smart phone for entertainment.
