seven construction zones southbound in Iowa. Besides closing down lanes 
these construction zones have a 55mph speed limit with at least a $1000 
fine if caught speeding. The northernmost segment in Iowa runs from the 
Minnesota border to about three miles north of US 20 over 50 miles but 
the actual work zones may be shorter.

Missouri shows at least as many construction zones and there appears to 
be three in Kansas. The Kansas road page doesn't show the details as Iowa.
