There are a couple of updates.

MN North Shore--  ***No changes here.***

K9PW      10/24/47 Pete has upgraded his 24 G to 4 W.
WBØLJC   10  24 rebuilding
           47 may get built but mixer front end only
K9JK  10/24/47 with Pete's loaners.
WØZQ    10/24   1296 and/ or 5.7 if there is interest
W9SNR Jim is planning to join the group if possible. 10/24/?
          He needs to convert his car mounted dish system to
          one that is more portable. Pete is helping him.

      Barry will be the secondary liaison for the Canadians.

Unfortunately this site has limited views from the Copper Harbor
area. Ops there must move from the top of Brockway to a small
area down the road. Path length is 176 km.
Open to Marathon but 225 km. Shortest path to the MN NS
is 316 km. Most MN NS sites are blocked by local terrain.
Best  chance to work them is Sunday morning from Grand
Portage Marina. 316 km and the path is in line with the path to
Copper Harbor. Don't know how we will be able to fit all of the NS
ops in. There is not that much room for all of the rigs. I have
suggested that they go to Copper Harbor and join the others

      this time.

interested in joining us or actually planning on being on the
air with us. Please have them contact me directly so I can keep
them up to date on everything.
