[NLRS] 2m vs 70cm weak signal activity

Aside from contesting activity, is 2m weak signal more active generally
than 70cm? I have a feel for 2m, but none what so ever for 70cm and the
other reason for my question is that I have a chance to purchase an iCOM
475H; something I would not want to do if the activity is little to none. I
understand the conditions can play a role, so I'm asking about the level of
activity in the MN, IA, WI area.
