GM Bill,

Good to see you finally got some rain. Not sure if you noted the MONSTER
storm North of you in Canada about 10 PM last nite...62kft tops, with golf
ball hail...could have worked you again on RS...and VE3KRP also.

Tropo wise ..I was out late last night and the cold front came through,
which seemed to kill the tropo of earlier in the day. About 7am this morning
things were suprisingly good with Grand Forks and Fargo UHF TV very strong,
the NT0V 432 beacon was normal but I was not hearing the EN15 beacon at all?

When I returned from exercise about 9:30 the UHF TV was still strong and so
was the NT0V beacon. The APRS propagation map did seem to show what I was
seeing. The radar back scatters were strong at Grand Forks, Aberdeen and
even Souix Falls, but noted that it was not as much for Duluth.

I probably blew an opportunity to work Arliss on 10 G tropo I suspect as my
10 G beacon was pounding in

Lets hope it continues or returns with the hot weather on the weekend
