Not much for activity OR tropo at my QTH, either last night or this morning.

Last night on 2m I did work N4PZ (407miles) a little after 6pm and then again at 9pm. Path "might" have been up an S unit here. Worked Don WA9KRT (532miles), but he was about summer normal. Big antenna and high. I can usually work him on 2CW about any time. Then worked Rick W0KT EN21ae 429miles a bit after 10pm while the APRS map was showing a big red blob over and between us. HOWEVER, we had to go to JT65 to do it. CW was a "no go".

Steve was hearing Connie W0ANH last night a bit before 6pm S9! It was not as good later and our path was NOTHING at all like that.

About 10:15am this morning Connie worked KG0VL (EN31) and after they signed I caught Jeff (321 miles)(and we moved up to 144.215 for a chat. Jeff runs about 200watts and was everything from 5-1 to 5-6 on SSB. Good copy. We were seeing a lot of QSB last night too.

We had a front move through this morning about 4am that gave us "lots of BOOMs" and .43" of much welcomed rain.

Monitoring W0ZQ 222/beacon as an indicator of improved tropo and none to amount to much at all. So far anyway.
