Sounds like some great DX worked yesterday. The internet went down during the Es opening for 20hrs and I can just now post. It will be interesting to see additional reports. I visited with Gene W3ZZ last night on 6m and some long haul NW-SE stuff was worked. There were some VERY good QSO distances made. Can't wait to hear details.

A better opening here than for some years but not the best. Sounds like Arliss had a fantastic opening there. At best the opening here lasted about 2hrs. Oddly, 15min after it started, I thought it was over and went upstairs to eat. I took my time and returned to weak signals still on 2m. I had the volume upon the rig, and never heard anything while I was eating. In all, 18 stations were worked in 12grids and in 7states. Of these I do not have EM50 or EM41 confirmed, but have worked them in the past. W5YG was worked on the June 13th on 2m Es also. He was in here almost the entire last hour last night.

Almost all signals were 5-9 and I ran at 70w without the amplifier until the last 30min or so. I tried several QSYs to 222, but "no joy".

6m was VERY VERY good until nearly midnight to both coasts, lots of good grids in NW Washington state and a few in SW BC.

The following is the log of the K0AWU 2m Es QSOs.
