Hello NLRS land.
 
Just a reminder that Aurora 2010 is Saturday, May 15, 2010.    Bring 
yourself, bring a friend, bring a newbie, to Aurora 2010.  Here are  the details 
so far:
 
Where: First Lutheran Church, 4000 Linden Street, White Bear Lake, MN (same 
 great spot as last year).  
 
Directions:  I-694 to Hwy 61, north on 61 to Cty Rd F.  Turn  right on Cty 
F, and immediately right again on Linden.  Enter from the  large parking lot 
on the east side of First Lutheran.
 
When:  Saturday, 15 May, 2010
 
Cost:  $5 for the conference. Aurora is run as a neutral cast flow  event 
and your $5 goes towards defraying the cost, so please register when you  
attend.  NLRS members can also use this opportunity to pay their $5 yearly  
dues.  Paul is working on e-Registration and it will be available soon  - we 
will also accept walk-ups.
 
Agenda:
0900 - 1200  Antenna range, 2m through 24 GHz, weather  permitting
1200 - 1300  Lunch break (on your own)
1300 - 1730   Technical presentation and NLRS business meeting
 
Bill Davis, K0AWU, is once again our technical chairman and he has an  
interesting line-up of presentations.  The following list is what is  shaping up 
so far (tentative):
  * W0VB -- Flex 1500 and 5000  
* N0HJZ – W0AUS Aug  Operations
* WA0RSE – Microwave Metrology
* NLRS Business  Meeting
* K0MHC – Discussion of a plan to promote weak signal VHF via  multimedia
* VE4MA -- 10/ 24 GHz RRV  beacon  observations
* K0AWU -- SoftRock Ensemble Rx and RxTx,   SoftRock SDR software by Simon 
HB9DRV

Please note that this is an election year and all  three officer positions 
are open - anyone interested please drop  me a note or be prepared to stand 
up for nominations during our business meeting  - don't be shy.
