Hello NLRS.

As you know, Aurora 2010 is a cash neutral event - some years we make a
little money, some years we loose a little money. One important key towards
assuring that we break even is to make sure that you register at Aurora -
the cost for attending is $5.00 and has been held at this level since I can
remember. So again, please register to help support this event.

It is also a good time to re-up your NLRS dues, also $5. We do not take
multiple year dues, sorry, it makes tracking more difficult and since we
would rather play radio then juggle books, we ask for NLRS dues on a yearly
basis.

The second thing that helps to assure that we break even is attendance -
income is directly related to atttendance. I know that Dayton is a conflict
this year, again for that I apologize (you can show up and vote for a new
Pres), but this is the only large scale gathering of Upper Midwest
VHF/UHF/uW specialists each year and I ask for your support in attending - besides,
Dayton is all that computer "stuff" anyway (and its going to rain in
Dayton).

Last, if anyone has an item that they would like to donate to the NLRS
that we can auction during the business meeting, please drop me a note.
100.000% of the sales goes towards defraying the cost of the conference site,
mailing, etc, and any excess will be placed in the NLRS general fund.
Donated items may be such things as relays, antennas, tools, your old preamp,
etc, etc, etc.

I am looking forward to seeing ya all at Aurora 2010 !

73, Jon
