Friendly reminder that WB9LYH and I will host the weekly
2 meter nets. WB9LYH is EN54cl, middle of WI and very
loud. Under flat bands, he's regularly working into St. Louis,
Kansas City, Cleveland, Detroit and Indianapolis.

WB9LYH is on 144.240 starting at 7:15pm, and he looks
south thru WI into ILL to start. He then swings clockwise,
going SW, W, NW, N, NE, E, SE. When he looks a certain
direction will depend on how busy he is. I update where
WB9LYH is looking plus who he's hearing on the 144-432
MHz chat at www.on4kst.com. You can register for free
there and follow along. It helps your understanding of what's
going on around you and helps you make more Q's.

I *know* there are Dakotas and southern VE stations that
monitor the NLRS list, and we are very interested in getting you
involved. Hopefully the very distant stations will 1) get on the
air and 2) keep an ear open for any stations that call for relays.

Hope to hear many of you tonight. Always be aware of
QSY'ing down from the net freq. and creating your own
activity. With 44 check-ins last week, we're making the band
much better all around the Midwest/Great Lakes. Continue to
look outward, and find others.

I host the 144.250 Badger Contesters net at 8:30pm, and
also start out looking south, then swinging clockwise a full 360.
WB9LYH does way better into MN, but I do look around
anyway.

     73,
