Congratulations to the NLRS entries and high finishers in the UHF
Contest.
I am making my vacation plans for next summer and tentatively plan to
participate in Rovermania! from Eastern SD. My dad is WA0OML and lives
in Brookings so we will visit him. I will bring the KK6MC rover, now
complete with 220 MHz and 432 MHz capability and I have a 10 GHz
project in the works.
If you look at the QST write up for last August's contest, you will
see part of my motivation for this. There is not too much UHF activity
here in NM. I put 9 of the 10 grids active in NM for the UHF contest
on the air and was the only active station in 6 of them.
I will keep you informed about my plans as August grows nearer. I am
looking forward to working a bunch of you next summer. - Duffey
