It is with great sadness I report that Bob, W0AUS, passed away earlier today.  He was up and around as recently as 
yesterday.  To
quote his daughter, "the end was mercifully fast."

Bob was one of the original NLRS members, and a great resource for us all.  Many, if not all of us in NLRS active on the 
upper bands and microwaves were supported and encouraged by Bob over the years.  Without a doubt, he was the leader on 
10GHz here in the Upper Midwest, being active there in the '90s and holding "10GHz Get-togethers" at his place to allow 
us to check our equipment and get ideas on how to do it.  He was active on all the VHF-UHF bands and on HF also.

He will be missed.
