Hello ! Well , I had alot of fun in the Sept contest running SOHP . I only ran 6 and 2 meters. Murphy had a quick visit - messing with my pc as well as sending a few bees my way resulting in my getting stung..... Highlights were all the rovers : N0LNO/r , WA0VPJ/r , KC0IYT/r and W9FZ/r just to mention a few . Other highlights were doing 100% completions on the wsjt stuff , especially working one of the east coast multiops on 6 meters just using the barefoot IC-7000 and the 'fullwave limp noodle ' after being asked to QSY there from a 2 m random wsjt QSO. The meteor scatter was really working well this weekend. My preliminary score tally was on 144mhz - 85 QSOs and 36 grids and on 50 mhz : 13 QSOs and 12 grids. My equipment list is on 144mhz : FT-897D to B5018 into a GS35B homebrew amp at 1.5kw with 0.25db @22.5db rcv preamp and running up to a single 2m12 at 60ft. On 50mhz : IC7000 to a full wave loop at
35ft. Many tnx to all - 73, Ron Bergantzel KA0RYT EN35CT - near Milaca, MN.
