Things are looking good for the UHF contest. The 902 antenna is now up on
the VHF tower in it's final location. W0ZQ did a check out of the 902/1296
systems tonight since I did some massive replumbing of those bands. I was
also able to figure out an unrelated issue with the 2m PTT line... I don't
need it for this weekend but it needed to be resolved either way.

My receive audio on the TR-751 is still a little lite. I was going to swap
in a backup IF rig but I just discovered that the rig takes a mic &
connector that I don't think that I own. The TR-751 will continue as the IF
rig for at least the weekend of the UHF contest.

The family is aware that it is a contest weekend and that I would like some
BIC time this weekend. (It is my birthday during the contest.. my requested
gift is BIC.) I look forward to a hearing a lot of RF this weekend. It will
be fun to track the rovers. For me this should be a bunch of new grids as
this will be my first UHF contest from our QTH in EN25.

Everyone that will be roving please be careful while out and about.
