We have had some good openings up to your area the last few days,
frequently in the late evening your time (last night I had VE4VHF/b at
0730z). The upper-midwest is a difficult distance for me to work so I am
always searching out new grids when the band opens that way. Hope you guys
spend some time looking west in the evenings. Most of these are probably
common, but with limited openings, I am looking for the following grids:

EN 01, 02, 05, 06, 11, 14-16, 26-29, 30, 31, 38, 45-47, 55, 65, 67, 75, 85, 86
EM59

If you live in any of these grids and are willing to take phone requests
when the band is open your way please drop me a note with your phone number
and a DO NOT CALL AFTER time. I will not call you after your stated
time! I am sure that after posting this, the band will not open up your
way again until next summer, but it is worth a shot as most of my unworked
US grids are posted above.
