A reminder that the Minnesota QSO Party is Saturday, Feb 4, from 8:00 am CST
(1400 UTC) to 6 pm CST (2400 UTC). MN stations work everyone, everyone
works MN stations. MN stations send their name and county (three letter
designator on CW) while non-MN stations send their name and
state/province/country. On HF there is a low power, QRP, mobile, and a multi-single class in
addition to a separate VHF class. A station can be worked once on CW and once
on SSB on the same band ; SSB contacts count for 1 point and CW for 2 points.
You can find the full rules and more information at
http://www.w0aa.org/mnqp_2006.htm . If you have any questions, you can also ask me.
Watch for W0ZQ/m on HF mobile from somewhere out in western and southwestern
MN.
