On Tuesday, November 8th, the  Twin Cities FM Club will present a special 
program with four amateur Minnesota  radio operators who were in the gulf area 
for various support reasons in the  aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Rita.
This is a very informative and  entertaining program and should not be missed!

Called "Communications  Preparedness Lessons Learned For You In New Orleans" 
the special meeting will  present the local communications people that were in 
New Orleans and local  emergency people that will tell how to get ready for 
emergencies.    Don’t miss stories of the experiences of the four panel persons 
and their  thoughts of getting ready!  The panel, Zack, AA0U, Steve, WD0BOI, 
Paul,  WG0G and Gene, KC0PPV will tell their fascinating stories from the 
Hurricane  areas.  In addition to the panel, Minnesota Emergency Section Manager 
Frank  Karnauskas, N1UW will give ideas on communications training and how to 
be ready  if and when a tragic emergency should come your way.   

This  presentation will be of great interest to both hams and non-hams.
Don’t miss  this very special meeting of the Twin City FM Club.    The room  
is limited to just 70 people so get to the meeting early.
