Hi everyone hope we all have some fun next weekend. Kinda promised I would get
the rover out again and things look good today. Was ill last week so I missed
a little prep time; feeling better today. To start out with I am very
confident with my gear this time out. All bands except 10G have been tested
and everything seems great. The 60W brick for 1296 will be a great addition to
the rover! As for 10G I hope to be testing later this week. Will have small
yagis for 144,222,432 and some longer stuff 902 and up.
Bands will be ABCD9EFG and I.
My operation freq will be 144.225 pse look for me there. QSY freq are the
.125’s 222.125, 432.125, 902.125 etc. As for the route I guess it’s off to IA
again
but please read all carefully! From EN42 it should be no problem
working the EN44 bunch as well as the fixed stations up in EN34, 35. I have
always had great luck from EN42. Even from the eastern edge of EN22, 23 it
should be no trouble working most of you. Operating times are very realistic.
I have roved in almost every place on this route before. Only possible
adjustments will be Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. If things are going
well Saturday I may try to get to EN23 earlier so as I can make it back home at
a more reasonable hour. Same for Sunday where I might try to get to EN45 a bit
earlier. My operation freq will be 144.225 pse look for me there. QSY freq
are the .125’s 222.125, 432.125, 902.125 etc. I think this will be fun. As I
pass through some of the parts of EN44 I may try to get more of you closer in.
Even toward the end of the test it will be no problem pulling over to work some
of you if we missed.
